Interpals Eco Resort: a responsible and sustainable campsite

INTERPALS ECO RESORT expresses its responsibility towards the environment, adhering to the voluntary implementation of an Environmental Management System (EMS). For this reason, in 1998 we joined the initiative to implement the EMAS environmental management system, promoted by the Direcció General de Qualitat Ambiental del Departament de Medi Ambient de la Generalitat de Catalunya and the Federació Catalana de Càmpings.

With the adoption of an EMS, we intend to continue minimizing the impact that our activity may cause on the environment in order to achieve the desirable and increasingly necessary concept of sustainable tourism, which implies a firm commitment to continuous improvement both in the service to our clients, as of maximum respect towards our environment.

This commitment is backed by the ISO14001:2015 certification in EMS (Environmental Management Systems), in addition to the EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) certificate, which recognizes those organizations that have implemented an SGMA and have made a commitment to continuous improvement.

Our environmental commitment to the care and preservation of the environment is translated into a series of objectives, which stem from our environmental management policy. A policy that is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, placing special emphasis on those objectives that are common to those established in the INTERPALS ECO RESORT Environmental Management Policy.
